The first Emirati-Kuwaiti Women’s Forum in Abu Dhabi has concluded as part of the “UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever” Week. The forum brought together women leaders from the UAE and Kuwait for a fruitful dialogue on women’s empowerment and strengthening their participation in economic and social development, reflecting the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries.

The forum comes within the framework of a clear vision to integrate women into the journey of nation-building and sustainable development. It also reflects the UAE’s broader vision of accelerating women’s empowerment and recognizing women as essential partners across all areas of life.

This commitment has been clearly demonstrated through the support of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation. She has played a pivotal role in empowering women, strengthening their participation in society, and shaping policies that advance their contributions to social and economic development.

The forum also played a prominent role in strengthening cooperation between women’s institutions in both countries and opening new horizons for the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The UAE Businesswomen Council participated in the forum’s activities, with a focus on supporting women-led enterprises and empowering women economically, while providing platforms that foster greater opportunities for cooperation among businesswomen in the UAE and Kuwait.

The forum also served as an interactive platform for encouraging women-led initiatives across various fields, from entrepreneurship to social development. It further contributed to strengthening social ties between Emirati and Kuwaiti women and facilitating the exchange of experiences that enhance their ability to address the challenges of our time and achieve their ambitions.

The relationship between the UAE and Kuwait is no longer confined to official ties alone; it has expanded into humanitarian and developmental cooperation, with women at the heart of this journey as true partners in shaping the future.

Through platforms such as this forum, the commitment is renewed to build tomorrow together—through continued support for women and sustained empowerment of the visions and ideas that contribute to the progress, prosperity, and well-being of both societies.
