The Health and Environmental Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council (FNC) held a virtual panel discussion on Tuesday titled “Safety of Our Food for Our Healthy Bodies,” chaired by Her Excellency Naema Abdullah Al Sharhan, Second Deputy Speaker of the FNC and Chairperson of the Committee. The discussion was part of the committee’s work plan to discuss the topic of “Government Policy on Food Safety.”
The panel was attended by members of the FNC, including Nasser Mohammed Al Yamahi, Committee Rapporteur; Khalid Omar Al Kharji; Sumaya Abdullah Al Suwaidi; Aisha Mohammed Al Mulla; Athraa Hassan Bin Rakad; and Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, FNC members. The panel also included a number of officials, stakeholders, food safety specialists, and owners of healthcare facilities operating in the country.
