Dubai, January 17 (WAM) – The Federal National Council’s Technology, Energy and Mineral Resources Committee continued its discussion of “The Role of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in Developing National Industries” during its remote meeting, chaired by His Excellency Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Committee Chairman.
The meeting was attended by committee members His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al Kashf, Committee Rapporteur; Dr. Nidal Mohammed Al Tunaiji; Afra Bakhit Al Alili; Aisha Rashid Laitim; and Aisha Mohammed Al Mulla.
His Excellency Yousef Abdullah Al Batran stated that the committee continued to discuss the topic within its framework, which includes the strategic plan that the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology seeks to achieve with regard to developing local industry; incentives and grants to support national industries and protect them from foreign industries; and cooperation and coordination with local and federal entities to support national industries. He noted that the committee will continue discussing the topic in its next meeting, attended by representatives of the ministry.
